At Peak Psychology Clinic the fee for a 50 minute session is $220.00.  The fee is negotiable for students and low income earners.  HICAPS (Health Industry Claims and Payments Service) rebates are available for major private health funds and the rebate would depend on your type of health insurance.  The rebate may be up to $60.00 but also may be less depending on your cover. 

 

Bruce is registered to provide rebates through the Better Access to Mental Health Care Initiative from Medicare.  If you have consulted with a General Practitioner (GP) and from your GP's assessment you are eligible for a GP Mental Health Care Plan then the Medicare rebate is currently $129.55.  The session entitlement with the GP Mental Health Care Plan is initially six sessions and a total of 10 sessions are available over one year from the initial referral date based on your General Practitioners approval.

 

We ask that you pay the full $220.00 fee on the day and then a receipt will be provided to claim your rebate from a Medicare Office or the rebate from your private health fund can be paid directly into your account at the time of your appointment.
